Prospect Masterplans

City of Prospect

Project Location: Prospect, South Australia

The City of Prospect has initiated 3 major projects including:

• Prospect Road - to provide social, cultural and environmentally sensitive infrastructure for the residents of the City of Prospect and its visitors. The Prospect Road Master Plan provides a vision of being a vibrant and eclectic shopping, entertainment and civic day and night precinct designed as a special and safe place for people. Successful funding of $189,500 was achieved for the design and documentation aspect of the project through the Department of Planning and Local Government's 'Places for People' fund.
• Prospect Oval - the vision for the Prospect Oval Precinct is for it to be recognised as the central parcel of open space for the Prospect Community providing opportunity for structured and passive recreation and managed in a manner that minimises impacts on the social and natural environments. The precinct will provide opportunity for the community to meet friends, family and other community members through participation in a number of active and passive opportunities while celebrating and sharing the unique aspects of the community. Successful funding of $1,750,000 was achieved through the Federal Government's Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program - Strategic Projects (Round 2) for the implementation aspect of the Prospect Oval project.
• Churchill Road - requires major redevelopment and upgrade of infrastructure to enhance the road as a major transit corridor, linking the Adelaide Central Business District with the Northern suburbs.

Tony Stacey Management Consulting are assisting Council with State and Federal Grant funding applications to implement the proposed works.
